We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our laboratory team. This role is responsible for conducting laboratory testing, sample preparation, equipment maintenance, quality control activities, and ensuring company procedures, industry standards, and safety requirements to support customer and operational needs.

 

As a Technician Lab I, you will be responsible for

• Conducting laboratory testing, quality control, and technical evaluations of cementing and stimulation chemicals used in oilfield pressure pumping operations.
• Responsible for managing & executing a wide range of laboratory operations related to cementing, fracturing, and stimulation testing
• Conducted QA/QC testing on cement, chemicals, and fluids to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
• Occasionally have to go to field to support field operation.
• Follow all laboratory safety requirements and chemical handling procedures. Participate in safety meetings, audits, and risk assessments.

 

 

To Be Successful in This Role You Will:

• High School Diploma or equivalent or specialized vocational training or Associate Degree with 3+ years’ experience or University Degree (entry-level).
• Ability to run appropriate tests and process/procedures.
• Intermediate analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Has basic understanding of API-RP 10 B is a plus.
