Your Team's Impact
We are seeking a seasoned Director or VP of Enterprise Architecture to join our enterprise architecture leadership team. In this role, you will serve as a strategic technology leader, partnering with business and engineering stakeholders to define architectural standards, drive technology strategy, and shape how our systems evolve to meet the demands of a rapidly transforming financial services landscape — including the integration of AI-driven capabilities.
You will lead architectural governance, evaluate emerging technologies, and own the design of complex, enterprise-scale solutions across our platform.
What You’II Do
- Define and evolve the enterprise architecture framework, standards, and best practices across business domains
- Partner with executive leadership, product, and engineering to align technology strategy with business objectives
- Lead solution architecture efforts for large-scale, cross-functional initiatives from inception through delivery
- Architect and oversee data provisioning strategies to support AI agents, LLM pipelines, and intelligent automation — including data ingestion, context packaging, RAG patterns, and model grounding
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns relevant to financial services
- Establish governance processes for architecture review, technical debt management, and platform decisions
- Mentor and guide senior engineers and architects across the organization
- Represent architecture in regulatory and audit discussions, ensuring designs meet compliance and risk standards
- Collaborate with data, security, infrastructure, and engineering teams to ensure architectural coherence across the enterprise
What We're Looking For :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in solution and/or enterprise architecture roles, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership capacity
- Proven experience in banking or financial services, with deep understanding of industry-specific architecture patterns, regulatory requirements, and risk considerations
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI/ML-adjacent infrastructure — specifically architecting data pipelines, knowledge bases, and data provisioning strategies to support AI agents and LLM-based systems
- Strong command of cloud-native architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices, API design, and event-driven patterns
- Experience leading enterprise architecture governance, including architecture review boards (ARB) and technology road mapping
- Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Desired Skills
- Experience in equities, brokerage, or wealth management domains, including familiarity with trade lifecycle, portfolio management, or advisory platforms
- Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks and patterns (e.g., multi-agent orchestration, tool use, retrieval-augmented generation)
- Experience with data mesh, data lakehouse, or enterprise data platform modernization
- Knowledge of financial industry standards and frameworks (TOGAF, BIAN, FIX protocol, etc.)
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS) is a plus
