This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by insuring the Supervisor's instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• This positions could work any department in Processing of this beef processing facility. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling and reaching are required in all areas and must be able to climb up/down stairs and ladders. Lifting up to 100 pounds is required.
• This position work in cold, damp or hot and humid environments (30 degrees to 105 degrees). Must be mechanically inclined. Welding experience preferred.
  
  This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.

Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.

Requirements:

Must be Level 8 maintenance or above. Candidates with 4 or more attendance points and/or any suspension in the past 12 months will not be considered. Must be able to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally. Additionally, they must be able to read, write, and interpret general equipment safety procedures to ensure safety.
