Description

The RISE Wealth Support Team is responsible for delivering world-class, phone-based customer service to participants assigned to a TIAA Wealth Management Advisors. You will proactively address service-based requests through phone and email outreach, serving as a one-time extension of the Advisory Team. Your comprehensive knowledge of TIAA products, services, and customer experience standards will be instrumental in achieving positive participant and Advisor outcomes and differentiating TIAA from competitors.


Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Rise Wealth Support Team (Formerly known as NCC Support) Manages individual relationships with high-net worth clients to resolve, key service needs such as general and complex account research (e.g., contract maintenance, transfers/payments and brokerage service) in an efficient way.
  • Assisting clients in completing forms and reviewing forms for accuracy.
  • Performs registered and non-registered activities related to identifying client needs and identifying potential issues with current financial plans (estate planning, beneficiaries, etc.)
  • Acts as an extension of the Wealth Advisory teams in strengthening client relationships by assisting with both service and support needs across all products and services promptly and accurately.
  • Coordinates with business partners in resolving client request.
  • Identifies and refers relationship opportunities to advisory team and business partners.
  • Manages Inbound and Outbound phone and written responsibilities from clients and business partners to address client issues and manage the expectations with both external clients and key business partners.
  • Interprets complex plan rules and explains them to customers in an understandable manner.
  • Maintains strong business relationships with Advisory Teams.
  • Completes brokerage operation activities in a timely manner and at established productivity levels.

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 2+ Years Required; 3+ Years Preferred

FINRA Registrations

  • SRC Indicator: Series 6 or 7; Series 63

Physical Requirements

  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work

Additional information:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday with flexible start times. A 4x10 schedule cannot be accommodated. Overtime may be required as business needs dictate.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of Customer Service experience.
  • Must have Series 6 or Series 7 and Series 63.

Preferred Skills:

  • 3+ years of Customer Service experience.
  • Effective case management hinges on a consultant’s ability to drive cases forward proactively. Success in this role demands initiative, independence, and a strong, self-motivated approach to overcome obstacles and achieve timely resolutions.
  • Written communication is essential for building and maintaining positive business partner and customer relationships. Accurate grammar and professional formatting are critical components of this skill.

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Base Pay Range: $24.04/hr - $33.65/hr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
