Job Description:

Director, Change Mgmt & Benefits Realisation

About the Role

This is a newly created leadership role responsible for ensuring that strategic investments deliver measurable business outcomes, not just project completion. The role will establish the frameworks, governance, tools and capabilities needed to drive adoption, embed change and realise business value across the organisation.

Initially an individual contributor role, this position will work closely with senior executives, Finance, business leaders, programme teams and the Asia Transformation Office (Asia TO) to shape how transformation delivers value across SLHK.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Change Management

·       Improve adoption and business outcomes of major transformation initiatives through effective change management.

·       Work closely with Asia TO to design and implement standards and measures for change readiness, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, adoption and reinforcement.

·       Implement readiness and value checkpoints across major initiatives.

·       Provide executive insight on adoption, benefits delivery and risks to value across the portfolio.

·       Build a federated network of change execution and business stakeholders.

·       Build organisational capability through coaching, toolkits, communities of practice and leadership engagement.

·       Drive continuous improvement change and benefits realisation capabilities.

Benefits Realisation

·       Establish SLHK's benefits realisation framework and define standards for benefits tracking, ownership and reporting.

·       Partner with Finance and Business to strengthen benefits activation and reporting, ensuring financial and non-financial benefits are measurable, tracked and actively managed.

·       Identify risks to benefits delivery and drive corrective actions with initiative owners.

What Initial Success Looks Like

·       Establish enterprise-wide Change Management and Benefits Realisation frameworks.

·       Implement governance and reporting standards across strategic initiatives.

·       Improve visibility of business benefits and adoption outcomes.

·       Strengthen executive confidence in transformation investment and value decisions.

Experience & Qualifications

·       12+ years of experience in transformation, strategy execution, PMO, value realisation, change management or consulting.

·       Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide capabilities and operating models.

·       Strong understanding of benefits realisation, business case management and value governance.

·       Demonstrated success leading large-scale business, digital or operational transformation programmes.

·       Experience working with senior executives and influencing across complex stakeholder environments.

·       Financial services experience with regional or multinational experience preferred.

·       Qualifications from Prosci, PMI or Lean are advantageous.

At Sun Life, we cultivate a High-Performance, Caring Culture that empowers our people to achieve outstanding results, embrace continuous growth, and create meaningful impact. We succeed together by fostering an inclusive environment where wellbeing, collaboration, and accountability are equally valued.

We offer 5-day work, attractive salary, MPF, group life and group medical insurance; and excellent career development opportunities to the right candidate.

We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. Application forms and resume will be kept for a period of 24 months after completion of the recruitment process. (All information will be held in strict confidence and only be used for recruitment purpose).
