Description
Employment Type: W2 / Full-time
Rate: $27.43/hour
- Competitive rate of $27.43/hour providing essential administrative and customer service support at a military installation.
- W2 employment position with a full-time, consistent schedule.
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week (five 8-hour shifts), performed on-site during Military and Family Readiness Center operating hours.
- Valuable experience in a collaborative, supportive environment supporting military service members, veterans, and their families.
- Mission-driven work improving outcomes for service members, veterans, and families through professional administrative and customer service support.
- Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience.
- Minimum one (1) year of administrative, clerical, receptionist, or office support experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and professionally in a customer-facing environment.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to obtain installation access and satisfy applicable security requirements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Preferred: previous front desk or receptionist experience; experience supporting military, government, veterans, workforce, or community-service programs; experience with scheduling systems and database management; high-volume data entry experience; familiarity with military support programs, employment services, or customer-support operations.
- Receive and route incoming telephone calls.
- Greet visitors, customers, service members, veterans, and family members entering the Military and Family Readiness Center.
- Provide professional customer service and respond to routine inquiries.
- Schedule customers for workshops, classes, appointments, and TAP services.
- Maintain accurate customer records and program documentation.
- Perform data entry within AFFIRST and other government systems.
- Update and maintain electronic and physical records.
- Support Transition Assistance Program (TAP) scheduling and documentation requirements.
- Assist government personnel with administrative and clerical support functions.
- Generate and maintain monthly activity and utilization reports.
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness in all assigned systems.
- Monitor client sign-in processes and records management activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and government information.
- Support office operations, filing, correspondence, and document management activities.
- Coordinate with government personnel regarding scheduling, customer needs, and reporting requirements.
- Comply with all security, installation access, and information assurance requirements.
