Special Education Teacher | Minnesota SPED License Required | Burnsville, Minnesota | $50 — $55/hour | Contract
- $50 to $55 an hour
- 37.5 hours a week, Monday through Friday

Every student with a disability deserves a teacher who sees their potential before they see their challenges. A school district in Burnsville, Minnesota is looking for Special Education Teachers across three open positions serving students from early childhood through middle school.
You will provide specially designed instruction based on individual IEPs, implement behavior plans, support students with academic, behavioral and emotional needs and collaborate with general education teachers and paraprofessionals to create structured environments where every student can grow.
Three open positions:
- FMLA leave at Eagle Ridge Middle School starting August 24 through November 9
- Resource Room 1st and 2nd grade at Hidden Valley Elementary for the full school year
- Early Childhood Special Education for the full school year
What you need to bring:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education teaching license in at least one of the following areas: Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Disabilities, Early Childhood, Emotional Behavioral Disorders, Learning Disabilities or Academic and Behavioral Strategist
- Any SPED license Tier 1 to 4 is accepted
- Special education classroom experience
- Experience with behavior plans and behavioral intervention strategies
- Experience in EBD, cross-categorical, center-based or resource program settings
- Experience coordinating paraprofessionals
