Job Description
The FP&A Analyst is part of the Global Capability Center (GCC) in Mexico City, supporting the Taste Elevation Finance Team based in Chicago. The FP&A Analyst contributes to core financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities including monthly reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking. Working under the guidance of FP&A Sr. Manager, the role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate finance within a global FMCG environment and to develop analytical and business partnering skills in a fast-paced and multinational setting.
Primary Responsibilities
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and performance dashboards for business review meetings;
• Support forecasting and budgeting cycles by consolidating data inputs, updating models and validating accuracy;
• Perform variance analysis vs. forecast, budget and last year;
• Collaborate with other team members to gather financial and operational data from different systems and sources;
• Maintain and enhance recurring reporting tools, templates and trackers using Excel and/or Power BI;
• Ensure data quality and consistency across all reporting outputs;
• Support simple ad-hoc financial analysis and requests from the Taste Elevation Finance Team in North America.
Qualifications
1. Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field;
2. Experience
• 2-3 years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Business Controllership functions;
• Financial Business acumen, ideally within Food&Beverage or FMCG industries;
3.Skills
• Good analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power Pivot) and knowledge of PowerPoint, Power BI is a plus;
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a global finance environment;
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
• Collaborative mindset and a proactive attitude;
