Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Perimeter Audit in West Grove, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an education setting, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, student or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately and maintain professional communication with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
