Primary Function
The REO Eviction Specialist I is responsible for assigning a portfolio of foreclosed residential properties nationwide to approved attorney firms. They assist in the activities that result in vacancy such as evictions. The REO Eviction Specialist I will handle a total portfolio of 200 to 300 occupied assets.
Principal Duties
- The ability to handle work in a fast-paced environment and be able to meet or exceed deadlines.
- Ensuring our clients’ properties are handled with timeliness and accuracy.
- Build excellent relationships with clients and keep them informed of property progress.
- Monitor properties from acquisition to possession.
- Assign occupied properties to the approved Eviction Attorney
- Monitor attorney firm performance.
- Work with listing agents to determine appropriate Cash for Keys amounts.
- Monitor portfolio for strict adherence to state eviction timelines.
- Review property photos to determine if personal property requires an eviction.
- Performs related duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- 1-year real estate, legal, or mortgage loan servicing experience, required.
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
- Knowledge of multi state eviction rules and procedures a plus
- Notary considered a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask.
- Prioritize tasks with a sense of urgency.
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Extended hours and overtime when needed.
