What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage Project Management staff, including coaching, mentoring, career development, performance management, and competency development.
- Ensure team members are appropriately trained, training records are maintained, and departmental quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed.
- Coordinate regular team meetings to support communication, workload management, resource planning, and operational forecasting.
- Independently manage the planning, setup, monitoring, and closeout phases of clinical programs and studies, ensuring delivery of high-quality services on time and within budget.
- Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, develop study documentation, coordinate study materials and equipment, and deliver accurate reports and project updates.
- Monitor study timelines, budgets, revenue forecasts, scope changes, and invoice reconciliation activities to ensure financial and operational success.
- Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Lead internal and external discussions to promote collaboration, effective communication, and successful execution of contractual commitments.
- Resolve client concerns through structured problem-solving approaches and maintain issue tracking documentation to ensure timely resolution.
- Support operational readiness initiatives, strategic departmental objectives, training activities, client presentations, and business development opportunities as needed.
What We Look For
- Bachelor’s degree and demonstrated project management experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical research, or related healthcare industry.
- 5 to 10 years of experience managing projects, programs, or studies within a regulated environment.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge of the drug development process and clinical research operations.
- Experience managing project budgets, forecasting revenue, and overseeing scope and financial controls.
- Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, customer relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project-related reporting tools.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
- Valid passport and ability to travel up to approximately 20% as business needs require.
