Digital Surveillance Risk Analyst

The Digital Surveillance Risk Analyst supports the organization's Risk Management and Claims functions by conducting video surveillance reviews, analyzing incidents, identifying operational and claim-related incidents, and communicating findings. This role is responsible for reviewing CCTV and digital surveillance footage, assisting with incident investigations, validating reported events, and providing actionable insights to support risk mitigation, claims handling, and operational decision-making.

Surveillance Review, Incident Analysis and Investigation

  • Retrieve, preserve, and maintain surveillance footage in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Document surveillance observations and maintain accurate records of findings.
  • Conduct targeted video reviews based on reported incidents, claims, customer complaints, operational concerns, or management requests.
  • Compare surveillance findings against incident reports, witness statements, and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare detailed summaries, reports, and recommendations based on investigative findings.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and investigative materials.
  • Adhere to established retention, storage, and evidence-handling procedures.

Communication and Administrative Support

  • Manage incoming and outgoing department mail and correspondence.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries received through shared email inboxes.
  • Maintain organized records and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate information requests and provide support to internal business partners.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time office-based environment with extensive computer and video-monitoring work.
  • May require extended periods of viewing digital surveillance footage.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive computer-based tasks.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
