Senior Manager, Account Management
The Senior Manager, Client Account Management Team Lead leads and develops a team of Client Account Managers while serving as relationship owner for strategic consumer-to-business payments clients and partners. The role translates business priorities into account plans, operating rhythms, and service standards that strengthen retention, profitable growth, partner satisfaction, and execution quality. This leader uses client and performance insights to identify risks and opportunities, coordinates cross-functional delivery, and makes independent decisions within established business parameters. The position is accountable for team performance, talent development, resource planning, and continuous improvement of the client account management operating model.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead strategic client account management. Develop and execute account plans and executive engagement strategies for priority clients and partners. Build trusted senior-level relationships, understand business objectives, oversee renewals and negotiations in partnership with internal stakeholders, identify expansion opportunities, and support sustainable client value and revenue growth.
Lead, coach, and develop the Client Account Management team. Set clear priorities, goals, performance measures, and development plans; delegate decision-making appropriately; provide timely coaching and feedback; recognize performance; address gaps; and build an accountable, inclusive, customer-focused team.
Drive client delivery, implementation, and issue resolution. Coordinate product, operations, technology, legal, sales, and marketing partners to support onboarding, product rollout, service delivery, and resolution of complex client matters. Maintain transparency on commitments, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
Establish and continuously improve the account management operating model. Design and maintain processes, playbooks, governance, service standards, client health measures, reporting, and operating cadences that improve consistency, scalability, knowledge management, and visibility into performance and risk.
Lead go-to-market readiness for strategic client growth opportunities. Align cross-functional teams on value propositions, commercial approach, implementation readiness, launch plans, and client-facing materials; monitor results and adjust plans based on performance insights and client feedback.
Basic Qualifications
7+years of relevant experience in client account management, strategic partnerships, commercial operations, including people leadership experience
5+ years of experience with strategic account planning; client relationship management; executive business reviews; client health and performance analytics; commercial negotiations and contract renewals; governance and operating cadence design; presentation development.
5+ years of experience with financial and commercial analysis; go-to-market planning; product implementation and launch readiness
Experience working with CRM and reporting tools.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Working knowledge of payments, financial services, or fintech is preferred

Salary
The base salary range is $123,000 – $165,000.00 per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus annual incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
