We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of financial information. This is a fully remote position supporting our team and requires a hands-on accounting professional who can manage accounting activities, deadlines, and team performance effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, proven experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity, and a solid understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting processes. You should be highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
In this role, you will oversee key accounting functions, support month-end and year-end closing activities, review financial records and reports, assist with audits, and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure financial information is accurate, consistent, and delivered on time.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial record maintenance.
- Supervise, support, and develop accounting team members, ensuring work is completed accurately and within established deadlines.
- Oversee and support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Prepare and review financial reports, account reconciliations, and variance analyses for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor financial data and accounting records to identify discrepancies, errors, or areas requiring further review.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, providing financial records, and responding to audit requests.
- Review and improve accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls to increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data across accounting systems and reports.
- Collaborate with FP&A, operations, and other cross-functional teams to provide accounting support and financial insights.
- Assist with process improvements, accounting system enhancements, and other financial initiatives.
- Maintain clear and organized financial documentation and supporting records.
- Support the Director of Accounting with special projects, reporting requirements, and other accounting-related initiatives.
- Perform additional accounting and financial responsibilities as required.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

- College education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with experience in a supervisory, team lead, or management capacity preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Experience managing, supervising, or mentoring accounting team members is preferred.
- Experience in a BPO, shared services, or multinational business environment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with accounting or ERP systems.
- CPA or equivalent professional accounting certification is preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fully remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and collaborate effectively with remote and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
