Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team at our Columbus, OH location. If you enjoy high-volume, fast-paced environments and understand the unique dynamics of supporting large hourly workforces, this role is for you.
You will play a pivotal role in day-to-day HR operations, ranging from high-volume interviewing and onboarding to employee relations and timecard auditing.
This full-time role is based on-site at our Columbus, OH headquarters and requires reliable local transportation for occasional travel to nearby facilities. Remote work is not available.
Position Responsibilities
Perform accurate data entry for various HRIS databases and spreadsheets, including Workday, Google Sheets, etc to maintain confidential employee files and records
Maintain department email and voicemail inboxes, and direct inquiries as needed
Interact in-person, by phone, or by email with team members throughout the business to answer questions on any number of HR topics. Expect a lot of face time with team members
Maintain a thorough knowledge of Rogue’s HR policies and procedures
Conduct time and attendance transactions and data audits to accurately track and report absenteeism, Point System outcomes, and other metrics
Help conduct group interviews
Support onboarding and offboarding; create new hire badges, prepare documentation, I-9 Verifications/e-Verify, etc
Be available for occasional on-call duties and to support business HR needs outside of standard 1st shift hours when needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years of experience in Human Resources required
Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation for local travel between Columbus-area sites
Must have experience in Workday or similar HRIS platforms
Work with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
High-level spreadsheet skills are essential, specifically the use of Google Sheets functions and data validation to ensure reporting accuracy
Possess exceptional people skills with a commitment to upholding professional standards in every interaction
Above-average organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment, often with competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
