We are looking for a BIM Coordinator at Hitachi Energy, Grid Integration business. This role is located in Västerås, Sweden and is part of the Nordic Operating Unit (Finland, Sweden, Denmark) BIM team.
The business line designs and delivers complete substations for distribution and transmission grids. In close cooperation with customer and other Hitachi Energy teams we deliver solutions to many segments, like renewables, battery energy storages, datacenters, industry, utilities and green hydrogen sector. We are offering an interesting position in an international project environment and various development possibilities in Building Information Modeling.
As a BIM Coordinator, you manage BIM in a project and communicate effectively with global colleagues, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. In this role you need to be a fast learner, self-motivated and work effectively both independently and as part of the team. You will support the Nordic Operating Unit digitalization initiative. Work is done in the Västerås office. The job includes some internal travelling and site visits as needed.

Your responsibilities
Manage project Common Data Environment and train the whole project team to use it
Prepare federated models, perform clash detection and conduct model coordination meetings
Prepare BIM Execution Plan (BEP) from internal and contract requirements and manage BIM model development
Create 3D renderings, animations, 4D simulations and other model based use cases
Implement BIM tools for site use in projects
Support the preparation and revisions of project budgets and estimates
Your background
Good knowledge of BIM cloud platforms specifically BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud/Forma
3 years of experience from Autodesk tools Revit and Navisworks
Knowledge of BIM requirements and standards in Sweden
Experience in working mid to large-scale projects and working in multiple projects at the same time
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree within a related field in construction or design
Fluent verbal and written skills in Swedish. Good verbal and written skills in English. Other Nordic language skills (Finnish and Danish) are considered as an advantage. Swedish citizenship is required due to security reasons
