Job Description
Just imagine designing the backbone of LEGO® moulding operations. Then make it real.
About the role
As our Technology Manager - Material Handling System, you'll lead initiatives that shape how material handling systems support LEGO® moulding operations. You'll oversee the development and implementation of material handling technologies, partner with cross-functional teams to improve system efficiency and manage projects from concept through delivery. You'll also help bring new technologies into the environment while ensuring solutions support long-term operational goals.
Required Qualifications
Delivered technical projects within material handling, manufacturing, logistics, or other flow-based industries.
Managed end-to-end project execution from concept development through implementation.
Led the specification, implementation, or improvement of material handling systems and equipment.
Worked within a large corporate environment involving multiple stakeholders and functions.
Coordinated technology initiatives that improved operational efficiency or system performance.
Built project plans and governance approaches that supported successful delivery outcomes.
Strong communication skills, the ability to relay complicated technical issues in a simplistic and easy to understand manner
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within material handling systems - ex. dairy, oil or granulates"
Exposure to moulding operations or automated production systems.
What you'll build
Material handling technology solutions that support LEGO moulding operations.
Strong partnerships across functions to improve system performance and operational flow.
Technology roadmaps and project plans aligned with business priorities.
Practical approaches that bring industry developments into day-to-day operations.
A foundation for future material handling capabilities across the organisation.
During your first year, you'll gain a deep understanding of how LEGO moulding operates and how material handling systems support production. You'll learn the landscape, build relationships, and contribute to the engineering and specification of critical operational infrastructure.
If you've worked in a role where you managed complex technical projects in manufacturing or flow-based industries, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is experience applying technology in a practical environment and delivering results through collaboration.
Life on the team
You'll join Manufacturing Design & Implementation, a team focused on shaping and delivering production capabilities. The team works closely with a wide range of stakeholders and values structure, discipline, technical curiosity, strong communication, and a collaborative approach. It's a place where people share knowledge, support each other, and work together to solve complex challenges.
What success looks like
Success comes from building a strong understanding of LEGO moulding operations and becoming a trusted partner in material handling initiatives. You'll work closely with engineering, operations, and project stakeholders to help shape future solutions. As the team continues to develop and implement manufacturing capabilities, your contribution will help create the systems that support the next generation of production.
