Meet your future team
You will join Group Strategy & M&A, the internal strategy and advisory team of the VELUX Group, based at our headquarters in Hørsholm. Reporting directly to the VP, Group Strategy & M&A, you will become part of a high-performing team that supports the CEO, Executive Group Management and senior leaders across the organisation.
Our team works on some of the most important strategic priorities facing the VELUX Group. We operate as internal consultants and trusted advisors, helping the organisation navigate evolving market dynamics, identify growth opportunities and make informed strategic decisions. We combine analytical rigour with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and collaborate closely with stakeholders across all parts of the business.
What we offer
As a Strategy Consultant, you will have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact strategic initiatives across the VELUX Group while developing your consulting toolbox, business acumen and leadership capabilities.
More specifically, your tasks will be to:
- Lead or support strategic projects across different parts of the VELUX value chain, including Sales & Marketing, Product Management, R&D, Supply Chain and Operations
- Conduct strategic analyses, develop business cases and evaluate growth opportunities, market trends and business challenges
- Facilitate strategic decision-making processes and support senior leaders in translating strategy into action
- Prepare clear and compelling presentations, recommendations and decision materials for Executive Group Management
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across functions, business units and geographies
- Support the development and execution of corporate and functional strategies
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to address complex business questions and identify actionable solutions
- Contribute to strengthening strategic capabilities and best practices within Group Strategy & M&A
What you will bring
Depending on your experience and capabilities, the position may be offered at Junior Consultant, Consultant or Senior Consultant level.
You are analytical, structured and curious by nature. You enjoy tackling complex business problems and thrive in an environment where you are expected to create meaningful impact through insight, collaboration and execution.
You combine strong analytical capabilities with business understanding and stakeholder management skills. You are comfortable navigating different perspectives, building relationships and presenting recommendations in a clear and convincing way. At the same time, you are a team player who values collaboration and actively contributes to a strong team culture.
Moreover, we expect that you:
- Hold a strong academic degree and demonstrate an excellent academic track record
- Have 1-4 years of experience in strategy consulting or a similar strategic role in a larger international organisation
- Possess a solid consulting toolbox, including structured problem solving, stakeholder management and storytelling
- Are able to communicate complex business topics clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Build trust and credibility with stakeholders across organisational levels
- Are proactive, driven and motivated by creating tangible business impact
- Work effectively in a collaborative and international environment
- Communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written
