MUFG is looking for an Administrator, Credit to join its team in Taiwan. This position plays a key role in supporting credit risk operations by ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of credit-related applications and documentation. You will work closely with Relationship Managers and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth credit administration processes and maintain high standards of compliance and operational excellence.
What you'll do:
As an Administrator, Credit, you will support the efficient administration of credit activities by ensuring accurate documentation, monitoring risk controls, maintaining credit records, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to uphold MUFG's high standards of compliance and operational excellence.
Deliver high-quality credit administration support to ensure smooth and efficient credit-related processes
Partner closely with Relationship Managers to resolve credit-related issues while ensuring compliance with internal policies and local regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate and timely records of credit data, including due date controls, approval conditions, and outstanding items
Identify and escalate potential credit risks to relevant stakeholders
Prepare credit information reports and conduct due diligence reviews as required
Support departmental projects focused on enhancing operational efficiency, customer service, and credit risk management practices
Monitor credit and market risk limit reports, escalating exceptions for investigation and resolution
Perform verification of key credit documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with established standards
Coordinate meetings and discussions regarding ad hoc credit matters, facilitating effective communication across teams
Prepare documentation and supporting materials for internal and external audits in accordance with company policies and guidelines
What you bring:
To excel in this role, you should possess experience in credit administration or credit risk management within the financial services industry, along with a strong understanding of credit processes, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent qualification
Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in loan administration, credit management, credit operations, or a related function within a financial institution is an advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of VBA is a plus
Good organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Sound knowledge of credit administration policies, procedures, and documentation requirements
Good understanding of banking products and associated credit and operational risks
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders
Good communication in English
