What are we looking for
The Kusnacht Practice is seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality medical care, oversee laboratory processes, and ensure the seamless coordination of nursing-related tasks. With a focus on precision, client care, and collaboration, you will play a key role in maintaining excellence across our medical and clinical services.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct various sample collections, including venous and capillary blood draws, saliva, urine, and hair samples, as well as alcohol breathalyzer tests and wound care
- Perform comprehensive medical and BIO-R®️ check-ups during onboarding and retesting, covering BMC measurement, EKG, height/weight monitoring, vital sign assessments, and medication intake documentation
- Administer infusions, injections and treatments as required
- Oversee laboratory processes by ordering blood tests, preparing and transporting samples, and coordinating with partner laboratories
- Prepare medical floors and examination rooms for client assessments to ensure a clean and organized environment
- Monitor, order, and maintain medical equipment and supplies to ensure uninterrupted medical operations
- Manage and oversee client medications, collaborating with medical doctors (TKP-Medical, Psychiatry, BIO-R®️) for prescription accuracy and proper medication use
- Conduct weekly medication reviews with Live-In Counsellors to verify correct medication handling and ensure medical equipment is in optimal working condition
- Assist other departments, including BIO-R®️ and Atrium, with nursing-related tasks when needed to ensure seamless operations
- Provide coverage for the BIO-R®️ Team (BIO-R®️ & Medical Coordinator) during holidays or absences, ensuring continuity of care and medical services
- Assisting clients and Live-in Counsellors with preparation for external medical examinations/appointments
- Booking and coordinating external nurses
- Ensuring external nursing coverage in cooperation with doctors
- Ongoing communication with the partner pharmacy
- Coordinating medication orders and deliveries with Live-in Counsellors and chefs
You are/have
- Completed training as "Fachangestellte/r Gesundheit (FaGe) EFZ" or Dipl. Pflegefachperson HF/FH
- At least 4 years of professional experience in a relevant healthcare setting
- Proven experience in placing infusions and blood draws
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent communication skills in German at least B2 and/or English C1
- A high sense of responsibility, independence, and flexibility
- Strong social competence and a client-oriented mindset
- An innovative and communicative personality
- A valid driver's license (must-have)
