Candidates must have warehouse experience within a manufacturing environment. Distribution-only warehouse experience will not be considered. Candidates must also have at least 2 years of actual warehouse supervisory or management experience with responsibility for employees. Team Lead or Lead experience alone does not meet this requirement.
Key Responsibilities

- Oversee receiving, storage, material movement, inventory control, and finished-goods shipping.
- Control and direct the movement of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations.

- Monitor and evaluate weekly warehouse KPIs and take corrective action when performance objectives are not achieved.
- Maintain accountability for controlled inventory and finished-goods shipping activities.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and timely processing of inbound and outbound transactions.
- Conduct and oversee physical cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, determine root causes of inventory inaccuracies, and implement corrective actions.
- Partner with Quality Assurance and other departments to resolve quality, inventory, packaging, and shipping issues.
- Ensure warehouse and shipping operations comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Oversee warehouse equipment requirements and maintenance programs, including large and small forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipment.
- Support capital expenditure proposals and warehouse operating budgets.
- Oversee the safe operation of specialty material-handling equipment when required.
- Meet established shipping-volume objectives and promptly address exceptions.
- Ensure products received and shipped meet established quality, packaging, and completeness standards.
- Serve as the go-to resource for the warehouse management system (WMS), shipping processes, and supporting computer programs.
- Perform and oversee daily system validations to maintain accurate warehouse and inventory information.
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, inventory accuracy, productivity, cost, and overall warehouse performance.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and material-handling equipment.
