Position: Dietary Aide
Employment Type: Part-Time
Pay Rate: $17.00–$18.00 per hour
Join Our Dietary Team!
Delta View Post Acute is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented Dietary Aide to join our healthcare team. The Dietary Aide will assist with meal preparation, food service, and maintaining a clean and sanitary dining and kitchen environment while helping ensure our residents receive nutritious and enjoyable meals.
Responsibilities
Assist with preparing and serving meals and beverages to residents.
Set up and deliver meal trays according to resident diets and preferences.
Assist with dining room and kitchen cleanup.
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of food service areas.
Assist with stocking and storing food and supplies.
Follow assigned therapeutic and special diet requirements.
Provide courteous and respectful service to residents.
Work cooperatively with dietary staff and other departments.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Supervisor or Director of Food Services.
Qualifications
Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety.
Compassionate and respectful approach when working with residents.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties associated with food service.
