Job Description:
This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of large program deliverables which requires engagement across multiple organizations. Key responsibilities include communicating target outcomes, coordinating delivery, resource planning, providing visibility of program health, and managing program risks, compliance and financials. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the target outcomes, timeline, and cost and facilitating sync points between business and technology leaders and Risk and Compliance partners.
Responsibilities:
Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery of large programs, such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates
- Broadens relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Compliance and Risk
- Establishes target outcomes in partnership with stakeholders and leaders
- Tracks success metrics and provides status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, performance, risks, issues, and schedule
- Collaborates with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
- Manages program financials and supports resource planning
- Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
- Responsible for maintaining the Enterprise Process for Issues Management and associated Policies, Procedures and Standards
- Engineer and implement risk remediations for payments. This will require re-defining controls, implementing and sustaining them to comply with enterprise and audit.
- Responsible for working with GT risk to ensure their governance routines and reports accurately depict the current state of issues and exams. Data quality and analytics experience are required.
- Identify control deficiencies, discuss, review, and make recommendations for process improvements and initiate recommendations as needed
- Engages in key initiatives designed to enhance process and oversee their implementation
- Engages with Executive key stakeholders and partners to provide feedback and influence change, collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Verify and Debate risk management analysis and reporting where inconsistencies exist
- May serve as Product Owner for Enterprise Issues Management system of record including communication of the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and with some guidance, create and prioritize stories in the product backlog
- Participates in challenging existing risk management procedures and standards and defining improvements
- Conducts execution of risk framework activities including independent monitoring and testing of controls and risk management processes for the Line of Business (LOB)
- Ensures adherence to the policies and procedures established by the company
- Manages risk requests, breach remediations and providing risk effective challenges for front line units
- Develops risk management analyses, reports, and approval procedures and guidelines on risk limits by type of product and/or transaction
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of financial industry with risk experience
- Laws, Rules and Regs acumen and experience
- Intense attention to accuracy, detail, and consistency
- Strong analytical skills and ability to effectively challenge information
- Strong communication skills: ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally and to feel comfortable delivering insights and recommendations to senior management
- Comfortable taking initiative and being resourceful /entrepreneurial
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-specific environment
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize daily tasks with project work as well as ad-hoc requests
- Proven verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
- Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
