Manager Mental Health Services - Outpatient - Swedish Hospital

Hourly Pay Range:

$42.54 - $65.94 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Manager ; Mental Health Outpatient Services

• Location: Swedish Hospital ; Chicago

• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

• Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm (Some evenings may be required for community events/may work 1 summer and 1 winter holiday)

• Required Travel: May attend meetings at other Endeavor Health locations

What you will do:

• Responsible for managing, planning, administering and evaluating outpatient programs in order to ensure high quality patient care, teamwork, and coordination of care. Determines work priorities, prepares daily work assignments, approves overtime and monitor compliance for regulatory requirements. Serves as a resource person for outpatient site nursing personnel in resolving operations and patient care problem. Acts as a physician liaison and role model for staff. Identified areas for improvement, recommends revisions to procedures and implements same.

What you will need:

• Education:

• If RN, Bachelor’s Degree OR Masters Degree and Clinical Licensure (LSCW/LCPC/LCP)

• Applicant who does not possess a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) must begin course work toward obtaining a degree within first six months of employment

• Certification: CPI within 90 days of hire

• Experience: Previous inpatient experience and management experience

• Unique or Preferred Skills: Familiarity with continuum of care and assessment and intervention skills. Knowledge of patient rights and laws pertaining to mental health.
