Responsibilities:
Defining, supporting, and continuously improving measurement methods and measurement processes; developing a valid measurement concept based on production-related requirements and statistical data analysis.
Developing and optimizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) using Power BI.
Planning, evaluating, and implementing new measurement technologies, including the introduction of new measurement systems into production (tactile and optical).
Serving as the central point of contact for questions regarding the execution of current measurements, selection and procurement of measuring equipment, as well as system validation.
Executing, optimizing, and documenting quality improvement initiatives.
Independently conducting root cause analyses in collaboration with internal shop floor stakeholders.
Conducting internal and external training sessions in both German and English.
Qualifications:
Completed degree in an engineering or technical field, such as Metrology, Physics, or a related discipline, with solid experience in machining and material removal processes.
Knowledge of manufacturing-related inspection and testing methods (tactile and optical), experience with coordinate measuring machines (e.g., Zeiss Calypso, Prismo, Ultra), and programming experience with CAD/CAM fundamentals.
Strong knowledge of statistical methods and techniques in a manufacturing environment, as well as experience in collecting and evaluating production-relevant KPIs.
In-depth knowledge of VDA 5 requirements or, alternatively, extensive experience in conducting Measurement System Analyses (MSA), as well as confidently performing process and system validations (IQ, OQ, PQ, PV).
Strong technical understanding of engineering drawings and experience working with SAP S/4HANA.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI, basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and experience using statistical software (e.g., Minitab or similar).
