We are looking for an Entry Level, trainable Railcar Quality Assurance Assistant.
· Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the quality system in accordance with AAR Recommended Standards and Practices and customer requirements.
· Support quality performance monitoring by collecting and maintaining data related to production performance, supplier performance, continual improvement initiatives, and internal and external audits.
· Assist with the preparation, coordination, and documentation of quality-related employee training.
· Maintain QA-related documents, records, logs, forms, and other quality documentation.
· Assist with preparing information and documentation for periodic quality system reviews with management.
· Support corrective and preventive action activities by documenting potential nonconformities and assisting with follow-up actions.
· Identify and document problems related to products, processes, procedures, and the overall quality system, and promptly report concerns to the appropriate personnel.
· Assist with tracking QA-related issues, corrective actions, and recommended solutions through completion, including verification that required actions have been implemented.
· Assist with inventory control activities, including receiving and verifying materials and parts, maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, organizing inventory, and assisting with periodic physical inventory counts.
· Support the identification, segregation, and proper disposition of nonconforming, damaged, or otherwise unacceptable materials and parts.
· Assist with maintaining material and component traceability and ensuring applicable inventory and quality documentation is complete and accurate.
· Promote quality awareness throughout the company by working cooperatively with management, employees, suppliers, and customers to support quality objectives and requirements.
· Perform other quality assurance, inventory control, and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Must be willing to learn and comply with AAR M-1003, and other appropriate AAR technical standards
- Well organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use or learn to use a forklift or all-terrain forklift
