What You'll Bring

  • Current enrollment in — or recent completion of — a degree in nuclear engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Academic or hands-on knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
    • Reactor core design and analysis
    • Radiation shielding design and analysis
    • Nuclear fuel analysis and qualification
    • Criticality safety
    • Reactor multiphysics analysis, particularly transient analysis
    • Nuclear materials and chemistry
    • Nuclear analysis software development, verification, and validation
    • Other areas of nuclear engineering or nuclear physics relevant to the design and analysis of small modular reactors, microreactors, and nuclear facilities
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a collaborative mindset — you're eager to learn and ready to contribute.

Application Requirements

Along with your resume, please submit at least one letter of recommendation. Letters should come from a professor, academic advisor, employer, or professional mentor who can speak directly to your qualifications, work ethic, and potential.
