Description
Sandvik is seeking an experienced manager with a strong background in the procurement and sourcing of construction and mining equipment parts manufactured across Europe and other global locations.
This position will oversee the overall operations and support activities of the department responsible for equipment parts procurement. The role will play a key part in managing and coordinating internal functions and teams to ensure a stable and efficient procurement process, while driving continuous business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the growth of equipment and spare parts sales by managing existing customers and developing new customer opportunities.
Identify customer needs and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Service, Finance, and other relevant functions, to provide appropriate products and services.
Manage dealer network operations and service support, including related training, testing, and troubleshooting processes.
Develop annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly sales support plans to achieve sales targets and manage execution at the team level.
Prepare and issue quotations to customers and manage the overall sales process, including orders, delivery schedules, and sales transactions.
Receive and process customer purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules and shipment status.
Manage sales-related documentation, including delivery notes and tax invoices.
Manage sales transactions and data through internal systems and support process improvements.
Manage customs clearance documentation and settlement for both domestic and imported goods, including preparation and management of payment vouchers.
Qualifications
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead effective communication and collaboration with management and various technical and non-technical functions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant business systems, with strong capabilities in operational data management and reporting.
Proficiency in English communication is preferred, with the ability to support global collaboration and reporting.
More than 15 years of experience in equipment and spare parts sales, operations, or commercial organizations, preferably within the construction or mining equipment industry.
Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks, continuously monitor progress, and ensure timely completion.
Ability to build long-term partnerships with customers and internal stakeholders, while proposing and coordinating optimal solutions from both business and operational perspectives to support business stability and sustainable growth.
A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
