Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for a Lead Mammography Technologist* who will function in a lead capacity providing instruction and direction to Mammography Technologists and Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist Trainees and will prepare and perform mammographic specialized procedures for the diagnosis of breast conditions.

Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school.

On-call Schedule: Incumbents scheduled to be on-call must be able to arrive to the hospital within 1 hour after receiving a call. Incumbents must indicate a willingness to accept and be able to arrive within one (1) hour for assignments. Please refer to the Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) for additional details and compensation.
Sponsorship: San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.
Candidates must possess all of the following:
- Must be certified by the State of California, Department of Public Health as a Radiologic Technologist.
- CRT/Fluoroscopy issued by the State of California, Department of Public Health (must obtain within the first six (6) months of hire or be terminated).
- Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography (M).
- Certificate by the State of California, Department of Public Health as a Mammographic Radiologic Technologist.
Experience:
- Three (3) years of recent experience within the past five (5) years as a Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist/ Mammography Technologist Technologist, which includes (1) one year in an acute care setting and (2) two years in a hospital or ambulatory setting.
There will be a competitive evaluation based on a review of the Application and Supplemental Questionnaire. It is to your advantage to include as much relevant and detailed work experience as possible.
