LCMC Health Physician Group (LHPG) is seeking a PRN On-Call Urologist to support our growing practice in Marrero, Louisiana. This opportunity is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible Urologist seeking flexible supplemental practice opportunities while remaining connected to a leading health system serving the Greater New Orleans area.
As part of LHPG, you'll join a collaborative team committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting the urologic needs of our community through call coverage and inpatient consultation services.

Position Summary
The Urologist provides comprehensive medical care and treatment for patients requiring urologic evaluation and management. Responsibilities include inpatient consultations, emergency department call coverage, assessment and treatment of urologic conditions, and collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure the highest quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic urologic conditions.
- Provide inpatient consultations and on-call coverage as assigned.
- Respond to patient care needs in a timely manner.
- Document patient encounters accurately and completely within the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and ancillary teams.
- Participate in an equitable call schedule.
- Maintain compliance with quality, safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.
- Support continuity of care through communication with referring providers and care teams.
Qualifications
Education
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Training
- Completion of an accredited Urology Residency Program
Licensure & Certifications
- Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted Louisiana medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), if required by practice location
