JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY: ERG3 Ergo Monitor Opr 0003 - Storm Lake Pork Plant

This position is responsible for monitoring equipment and ensuring products have passed all critical control points while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Monitor production equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with food safety and quality requirements.
• Verify and document that products have successfully passed all designated critical control points (CCPs).
• Perform routine checks, inspections, and monitoring activities according to established procedures.
• Identify, report, and assist in resolving equipment, food safety, or quality concerns.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety, food safety, animal welfare, and quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, production personnel, and support departments regarding operational issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able and willing to work safely around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Must be able and willing to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Must be able and willing to inspect products and equipment with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must be able and willing to work in cold, wet, humid, noisy, and fast-paced production environments.
• Must be able and willing to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Must be able and willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
