Director of Spa & Wellness for a World-Class Luxury Hospitality Brand in Greater Manchester

Are you an experienced Spa & Wellness leader ready to shape an exceptional luxury wellness experience?

We are looking for a Spa & Wellness Director to take the lead of a prestigious spa and wellness operation in the Greater Manchester area. This is a senior leadership opportunity combining exceptional guest experiences, commercial performance, wellness innovation and the development of high-performing teams.

As Spa & Wellness Director, you will have overall responsibility for the spa, fitness and wellness offering. You’ll set the strategic direction while remaining a visible and hands-on leader, ensuring every part of the guest journey reflects the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations across Spa, Fitness and Wellness.
• Create exceptional, personalised experiences for guests and members.
• Develop and deliver the annual Spa & Wellness business plan.
• Drive revenue, profitability and guest satisfaction.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cost controls and overall financial performance.
• Develop treatment menus, wellness programmes and new guest experiences.
• Identify emerging wellness trends and opportunities for innovation.
• Maintain outstanding standards across facilities, equipment, presentation and ambience.
• Build strong relationships with guests, members and VIP clientele.
• Collaborate on marketing campaigns, events and wellness partnerships.
• Recruit, coach and develop a passionate, high-performing team.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety requirements and operating procedures.
• Work closely with senior leadership and other departments to integrate wellness throughout the wider guest experience.

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of leadership experience within a luxury spa or wellness environment.
• Proven experience managing teams, financial performance and guest satisfaction.
• Previous experience within a luxury hotel or integrated resort environment is preferred.
• A degree or diploma in Spa Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• A professional spa or wellness qualification is preferred.
• Strong commercial, operational and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• A genuine passion for luxury hospitality and evolving wellness trends.
