Premier Research is looking for a Accounts Receivable Specialist II to join our Clinical R&D-Finance team.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Ensures projects are invoiced in a timely manner according to contract specifications and client requirements
  • Drives accounts receivable collection efforts to ensure client payments are received timely and according to contract terms.
  • Assists in reconciliation and roll-forward of project unbilled balances to ensure appropriate accounting through study completion.
  • Corresponds directly with the operational team and clients with regards to invoice approval expectations as well and client payment expectations and elevates accordingly.
  • Supports development of change order payment schedules as needed
  • Maintains appropriate filing of client invoices and required supporting documents.

What we are searching for:  

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting or finance
  • Three to five years + direct experience in Accounts Receivable or other finance functions
  • Experience with Workday preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong Computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook and Excel
  • Knowledge of web-based communication tools for conferences 
  • Highly detail oriented  
  • Team player with ability to work collaboratively with other finance functions 
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills. 
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, able to prioritize work to meet deadlines. 
  •  Fluency in English.
