Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Custom Architectural Millwork Fabrication Manager to join our team in Spanish Fork, Utah. This role is responsible for overseeing our custom fabrication operations, managing the fabrication team, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality.
The Fabrication Manager will work closely with project management, design, estimating, and the manufacturing team to prepare jobs for production and establish efficient workflows. This position will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, assigning and prioritizing work, monitoring project progress, and identifying potential issues before they impact quality or deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of custom architectural millwork fabrication. This person should be focused on developing and implementing best practices, improving production processes, maximizing efficiency, and maintaining consistent quality throughout the fabrication process.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of custom architectural millwork fabrication
- Ability to read, interpret, and review architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and production plans
- Ability to plan and coordinate fabrication workflows from job release through completion
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and assign work to fabrication team members based on project requirements and production schedules
- Strong understanding of woodworking equipment, CNC processes, joinery, assembly, and fabrication methods
- Ability to identify potential fabrication issues, conflicts, or inefficiencies and develop practical solutions
- Lead, train, coach, and hold fabrication team members accountable for quality, productivity, safety, and deadlines
- Coordinate closely with project management, design, estimating, and manufacturing personnel to ensure jobs are properly prepared before entering production
- Develop and implement best practices, standardized procedures, and process improvements to increase efficiency and consistency
- Monitor production progress and communicate schedule concerns, material needs, and potential delays to management
- Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in custom architectural millwork, cabinetry, woodworking, or related manufacturing
- Previous experience leading, supervising, or managing a fabrication or production team preferred
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and plans
- Experience with production scheduling, workflow coordination, and quality control
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to identify problems, make decisions, and implement effective solutions
- Reliable, organized, accountable, and team-oriented

- Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed.

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
