What you'll do...
Role summary:As a Senior Manager, Technology Operations on the Enterprise Consumer Fraud & Risk team, you will lead fraud strategy execution and control governance for Credit/Debit card and Wallet-based payment tenders (Walmart Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal) across Walmart’s payment ecosystem. This role oversees multiple initiatives that focuses on reducing fraud and chargeback exposure while improving customer experience across Wallet & Checkout. The position requires strong expertise in program management, technology strategy, and business operations while building productive relationships, influencing outcomes, and supporting the organization’s goals through clear communication and accountable leadership
About the team:
The Enterprise Consumer Fraud & Risk team protects Walmart customers, members, and the business by detecting and mitigating fraud throughout the customer lifecycle. This team specializes in Payments Fraud & Risk, driving strategy through data, analytics, and investigative methods to identify emerging threats and assess control effectiveness. Collaborating closely with multiple Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Business teams, the group develops balanced recommendations that align transaction security with customer experience and business objectives. Their efforts enable scalable fraud controls across all tenants, supporting Walmart’s commitment to secure and efficient technology operations.
What you'll do:
- Lead program planning and execution for multiple medium to high complexity initiatives aligned with strategic objectives.
- Track milestones, risks, blockers, dependencies, launch readiness, and post-launch validation for assigned payment fraud controls.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technology solutions and drive consensus.
- Monitor initiative performance using key metrics, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Prepare leadership-ready updates on roadmap status, risks, decisions needed, control gaps, and business impact.
- Maintain clear and current documentation in Confluence, including fraud requirements and operating procedures for multiple tenants.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in technology & business operations, fraud/risk, payments, eCommerce, or program execution.
- Proven ability to define initiative goals, deliverables, and schedules aligned with strategic objectives.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives, track dependencies, find control gaps and drive follow-through across cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to organize complex information into clear updates and recommendations.
- Comfort working with data, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics partners to understand fraud trends and business impact.
- Ability to identify risks, escalate issues, and support root cause analysis for fraud or payment-related incidents.
- Demonstrated accountability and decision-making skills in dynamic, high-complexity environments.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
