We are seeking a Vice President, Human Resources - Europe & Asia to join our global HR leadership team. This position is based in Kristiansand, Norway and reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, you will partner with senior business leaders to drive people strategy, organizational effectiveness, talent development, and employee engagement across a diverse, multinational organization. What will you be doing in this role?

In this role, you will lead the execution of HR strategy across Europe and Asia, partnering with leaders to strengthen organizational capability, develop talent, drive workforce planning and succession, and foster a high-performing, engaged culture.

You will:

  • Lead a HR organization across multiple countries, ensuring strong partnership with business leaders and consistent execution of people priorities.
  • Partner with executive leaders on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and business transformation.
  • Lead and develop HR teams building capability, accountability, and a high-performing HR function.
  • Drive talent, leadership development, succession planning, employee engagement, and culture initiatives.
  • Partner with unions, works councils, and employee representative bodies to support constructive employee relations and consultation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, labor requirements, and company policies.
  • Support acquisitions, organizational transformations, restructurings, and change initiatives.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll governance, and HR operational effectiveness.
  • Use workforce insights, people analytics, and business data to support decision-making.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced HR leader who can translate business priorities into people strategies and deliver results across a complex, multinational organization. The successful candidate will bring strong business partnership, regional leadership experience, and the ability to lead high-performing teams while navigating diverse labor, legal, and cultural environments.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience leading HR teams and managing people leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that support organizational objectives.
  • Experience working in unionized environments, including labor relations, collective bargaining support, and employee relations matters.
  • Experience partnering with Unions, Works Councils and employee representative bodies in international locations, with a strong understanding of applicable consultation and co-determination requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, talent management, organizational development, and change management.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting global or multi-country operations preferred.
  • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or organizational integrations is a plus, including due diligence, workforce integration, change management, and harmonization of HR programs and policies.
