Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Computer Operations in Everett, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, team-focused culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, perimeter areas, parking locations, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries, deliveries, and/or incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Communicate observations, hazards, equipment concerns, and security-related incidents promptly to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
