Description
- Lead and manage the overall MEP BIM team, ensuring the timely and quality delivery of BIM-related project requirements.
- Develop and implement BIM strategies, standards, workflows, and project-specific requirements for complex, multidisciplinary projects.
- Plan, manage, and maintain 3D BIM models and data, ensuring compliance with project deliverables and BIM execution standards.
- Produce and coordinate BIM models, including general arrangement drawings, schedules, and construction documentation.
- Provide BIM modelling, drafting, and technical support to the Singapore MEP team.
- Collaborate closely with Civil & Structural (C&S), Architectural, and MEP disciplines across both local and overseas project teams.
- Lead design coordination activities, conduct clash detection, prepare clash reports, and facilitate regular coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts.
- Liaise with engineers, project managers, and relevant stakeholders to prepare and submit drawings to authorities for approvals and clearances.
- Drive design optimisation and improve construction outcomes through the application of BIM and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) methodologies beyond 3D modelling.
- Promote innovation by engaging project teams and leveraging advanced digital tools and technologies to solve project challenges.
- Prepare and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEP)
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Building Services, BIM, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant MEP design and BIM coordination experience.
- Prior experience working in a Singapore-based MEP consultancy environment is required.
- Proven track record as a BIM Leader, BIM Manager, or equivalent role, with experience leading BIM teams on complex projects.
- Strong expertise in MEP design coordination, BIM modelling, clash detection, multidisciplinary coordination, and BIM deliverables management.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore MEP design practices, BIM standards, authority submission processes, and project delivery requirements.
- Proficient in BIM software and coordination tools such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant digital platforms.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project priorities and work effectively within multidisciplinary and geographically dispersed teams.
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR) preferred.
