Customer Service Representative

San Antonio Animal Hospital is looking for a friendly, compassionate, and dependable Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team!

Our CSR is often the first and last person our clients interact with, so we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, loves animals, and can provide exceptional service in a busy veterinary hospital environment.

What You'll Do

• Welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to client inquiries
• Check clients and patients in and out
• Maintain accurate client and patient information
• Communicate appointment instructions, medication information, and doctor recommendations as directed by the medical team
• Process payments and assist with estimates and invoices
• Manage prescription and food refill requests according to hospital protocols
• Coordinate communication between clients, doctors, and veterinary technicians
• Follow up with clients regarding appointments, test results, reminders, and other hospital communications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Handle client concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Help create a positive experience for every client and patient

• Able to remain calm and professional during stressful or emotional situations
• Comfortable learning veterinary terminology and hospital software

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience in a veterinary, healthcare or reception setting (Required)
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience required 
• Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to provide compassionate, client-focused service 
• Basic proficiency with technology, including scheduling software and online communication platforms 
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, even during busy periods.

Schedule

• Full Time (30-35 hours per week)
• Some Saturday Hours Required
