Job Scope
High level purpose of function.
Execution of Service , Maintenance and Daylie operations in Electrical Distribution systems HV 145kV , MV 33KV for the Central Electrical Department.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
- Operate and monitor the 145 kV and 33 kV electrical distribution systems.
- Perform HV and MV switching activities in accordance with approved procedures.
- Execute planned and corrective maintenance on substations, switchgear and transformers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve faults within the electrical distribution network.
- Ensure safe isolation and restoration of electrical equipment.
- Support testing and maintenance of protection and control systems.
- Maintain compliance with electrical safety regulations, PTW and LOTO requirements.
- Supervise contractors working within HV and MV installations.
- Participate in emergency response and power restoration activities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, switching logs and technical documentation.
- Support commissioning and energisation of new electrical assets.
- Identify and implement reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor electrical system performance and report abnormal conditions.
- Promote a strong electrical safety culture across the facility.
- Support the delivery of safe, reliable and efficient power to all site operations.

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified electrician with recognised electrical education or equivalent Auktorisation A or AL is considered an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Experience working with HV and MV electrical distribution systems, substations, switchgear and power transformers.
- Experience working under Permit-to-Work and LOTO procedures.
- Understanding of Swedish electrical safety requirements.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Swedish language skills are considered an advantage.
- SSG4500/1 certification is considered an advantage.
- HV switching authorisation or equivalent experience is considered an advantage.
- Experience in commissioning and energisation of electrical assets is considered an advantage.
- Fluency in English
- Elementary computer literacy (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Valid Driver’s License B
Specific skills
- Experience with ABB Switchgears, Breakers and DCS is an advantage.
