Within Advisory, PwC has a large team that focuses on transformation in Government through Digital inclusion. The open position is for a candidate who desires to work with government clients and bring about a change in society. A successful candidate will be expected to work pro-actively and effectively on multiple client engagements over the period and take ownership of the entire project delivery he/she entrusted with.
More specifically, these positions aims at helping the Maritime Sector clients intersecting the domains of Information Technology and national level Maritime related initiatives focusing on Program Management, Implementation Monitoring and Benefits Realization of IT projects, Digital Strategy, and IT modernization.
responsibilities
Provide strategic IT consultancy to maritime clients and agencies.
Lead digital transformation roadmaps aligned to maritime business challenges and regulatory frameworks.
Advise on integration of emerging technologies — IoT, AI/ML, predictive analytics, cybersecurity, blockchain, and digital twins, etc.
Lead PMO functions for maritime IT transformation programs — defining governance models, frameworks, methodologies, and delivery standards.
Define and track KPIs, milestones, and benefits realization across the program portfolio.
Drive risk, issue, dependency, and change management processes across multi-vendor, multi-geography programs.
Produce executive-level dashboards and steering committee presentations and reports on program health, risks, and outcomes.
Liaise with senior stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business goals.
Mandatory skill sets:
Strong expertise in Maritime IT Consulting / Technology Consulting / Implementation.
Hands-on experience with major maritime IT platforms (Port Operations, Vessel Management. IMO Guidelines, etc.)
Proven experience in leading Program Management functions for large enterprise transformation programs.
Strong governance, financial management, and stakeholder management skills for multiple ongoing initiatives.
Solid foundation in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, data integration, and cybersecurity frameworks.
Preferred skill sets:
Maritime Sector Domain experience and knowledge.
Exposure to Large Transformation programs in the Maritime Sector.
Years of experience required:
10+ years
Education qualification:
Post-Graduation: MBA (preferable) from a top-tier college with a very good academic record.
Graduation: BE/BTech/MCA/MSc (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics).
One or more of the following certifications: PMP / Prince-2 / TOGAF / ITIL / COBIT
