The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As our South Africa Country Marketer, you will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies, driving portfolio growth through
customer insights, pricing optimization, cross-functional collaboration, channel performance management, and effective budget stewardship while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

- Developing and executing country marketing plans, programs, and tactics that align with business objectives, leveraging customer, competitor, and market insights to drive growth and optimize performance.
- Leading cross-functional coordination across product, sales, digital, pricing, CRM, and channel teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns, promotional activities, customer engagement initiatives, and commercial programs.
- Driving effective execution of brand, product, and channel marketing activities, including digital marketing, CRM programs, promotional pricing, sales enablement materials, and customer-focused campaigns.
- Utilizing data and analytics to identify target market segments, evaluate market coverage, track channel performance, uncover customer opportunities, and generate actionable insights that support business decision-making and sales effectiveness.
- Conducting competitive and pricing analyses, recommending pricing strategies and promotional approaches that enhance market competitiveness and commercial outcomes.
- Providing leadership within projects and change initiatives by establishing priorities, coordinating resources, supporting capability development, and fostering collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
- Managing marketing budgets and project-related financial processes, including purchase order creation, budget allocation, vendor management, service confirmations, and payment tracking to ensure efficient and compliant use of
resources. - Ensuring all marketing, branding, promotional, pricing, and merchandising
activities comply with applicable company policies, legal requirements, and
industry regulations. - Generating and communicating customer and end-user insights through
research, CRM data analysis, market feedback, and stakeholder engagement to influence strategy, improve customer experience, and accelerate business
growth. - Continuously monitoring marketing performance metrics and recommending
adjustments to programs, campaigns, and investments to maximize return on
investment and achieve marketing objectives.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing
- Intermediate to advanced experience in portfolio marketing, product marketing, and/or product management within the medical devices industry
- Ability to communicate effectively across the organization and collaborate with international colleagues based in the Middle East and Gulf region
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
Work location:
• Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to our office on Leslie avenue, Design Qtr, Fourways, Gauteng, South Africa at least 2-3 days per week)
Travel: May include up to 40%
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
