Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute account plans that support portfolio growth, customer retention and new business acquisition.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of business customers, delivering against agreed revenue, retention and commercial objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Identify and develop opportunities to expand JT's products, services and solutions across assigned accounts.
- Drive customer retention through proactive engagement, renewal planning and effective management of commercial risks.
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities within assigned sectors, territories or target accounts.
- Manage sales opportunities through the full sales lifecycle, from identification and qualification through to proposal, negotiation and contract completion.
- Coordinate internal resources to ensure customer opportunities, requirements and service commitments are effectively managed.
- Develop a strong understanding of customer business priorities and challenges to identify growth opportunities and strengthen customer value.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, opportunity progression and sales forecasting disciplines.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, account performance and relationship health, implementing actions to improve customer outcomes where required.
- Provide customer and market insights to support growth initiatives and commercial planning.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience in account management, business development or consultative B2B sales, with a proven track record of achieving revenue growth and customer retention objectives.
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to establish credibility and build trusted partnerships with customer stakeholders.
- Ability to identify customer needs and align appropriate solutions to deliver mutual commercial value.
- Experience developing and executing account plans, managing opportunities and maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and forecast.
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to identify growth opportunities, prioritise activities and deliver against agreed objectives.
- Effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrates a collaborative approach, working effectively across teams to deliver positive customer and business outcomes.
- Takes accountability for outcomes, follows through on commitments and proactively addresses challenges and risks.
- Shares knowledge, insights and opportunities to support collective success and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Demonstrates resilience, adaptability and professionalism whilst acting as a positive ambassador for JT's values and behaviours.
