Job Description

Job Summary

The Food & Beverage Associate is responsible for delivering attentive, personalized, and efficient service across the hotel’s food and beverage outlets. The role ensures a welcoming dining experience while maintaining high standards of service, product knowledge, cleanliness, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, understand their preferences, and provide attentive and personalized service throughout the dining experience.
• Accurately take, process, and serve food and beverage orders in accordance with established service standards.
• Maintain strong knowledge of menus, ingredients, allergens, promotions, and beverage offerings to confidently assist guests.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and support effective service recovery when required.
• Ensure tables, service stations, and outlet areas are consistently prepared, clean, and maintained to brand standards.
• Process guest bills and payments accurately while following established cash-handling procedures.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Stewarding, and other hotel teams to ensure seamless service and a consistent guest experience.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, responsible service, and health and safety standards at all times.

Desired Skill & Expertise

Desired Skills & Competencies

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or a related field is preferred.
• 1–2 years of Food & Beverage service experience, preferably within a hotel or upscale hospitality environment.
• Strong guest engagement and interpersonal skills with a genuine service mindset.
• Good food, beverage, and menu knowledge with the ability to make relevant recommendations.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
• Agile, attentive, and composed in a fast-paced operation with a strong focus on service excellence.
