As an Armed Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility grounds, buildings, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and potential hazards to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation while complying with applicable armed post procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
