Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Perimeter Monitor in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for guests and staff. You will respond to security-related concerns, document observations, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and delivery activity according to site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Communicate observed concerns and incident details promptly to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
