Description
The Opportunity
AI is changing how creative and business work gets done — from tools that assist one step at a time to systems that can plan, execute, and deliver outcomes with increasing independence. You will help lead product strategy for a new category of AI agent experiences at Adobe: helping define how people discover, delegate to, and build trust in AI agents that can operate with real autonomy.
This is a 0-to-1 product opportunity. Much of the industry today is still built around AI as a step-by-step assistant — a suggestion here, an approval there. The next frontier is AI that can be trusted to carry out meaningful work with less hands-on oversight and do it well. Your job is to help define what that experience looks like: how people find the right AI agent for a task, how much oversight they want (and when), how trust is earned, and how outcomes are delivered — across Adobe's own products and, potentially, wherever our customers already work.
This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, emerging AI/agent technology, and monetization innovation. You'll need strong instincts for translating ambiguous, fast-moving technology into product decisions, and for building the trust mechanisms that let people delegate real work to AI. Fast-moving timelines, cross-functional complexity, and high executive visibility make this one of the highest-impact product roles at Adobe right now.
What You'll Do
- Drive the roadmap for a new AI agent product experience, from early concept through launch, covering how people discover, evaluate, and start working with AI agents suited to different tasks and skill levels.
- Help define the oversight and trust model for autonomous AI features, from close human supervision to much greater independence, including the guardrails, transparency, and intervention points that make greater autonomy safe and trustworthy to ship.
- Prioritize and sequence a set of AI capabilities across a range of complexity and value, from simple production tasks to higher-value business outcomes.
- Contribute to the business mechanics (usage models, consumption, pricing) for AI features that may run over extended periods rather than single interactions.
- Identify new distribution opportunities, including how these capabilities might extend beyond Adobe's own products into other platforms and contexts where our customers work.
- Bring a growth mindset. Help define adoption and retention loops appropriate to this new category of product, balancing fast iteration with a longer-term vision.
- Partner closely across the organization, including engineering, design, research, corporate strategy, and go-to-market, to bring this vision to life.
- Keep the customer at the center, developing deep familiarity with the people and businesses who'll use these products, and using that insight to shape what gets built and how much autonomy they actually want.
What You Need to Succeed
- 10+ years of product experience, ideally within creative software, AI-driven products, marketplaces, or productivity ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience shipping products involving autonomous or semi-autonomous AI systems, including trust, oversight, or orchestration challenges.
- Strong fluency in current AI/agent technology and standards, and sharp commercial instinct for translating emerging technology into product strategy.
- Experience with experimentation methodology, growth models, and working with data.
- Solid understanding of creative workflows and empathy for the creative community.
- Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to connect high-level vision to pragmatic execution.
- Skilled cross-functional collaborator, able to work effectively with product, engineering, research, and design.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity in a rapidly evolving space.
- Passion for Adobe's mission and a belief that AI should empower, not replace, human creativity, including a thoughtful point of view on how much autonomy is appropriate to grant AI systems, and when.
