What you will do:

  • Lead the development and refinement of governance operating practices, including intake, prioritization, governance cadence, execution tracking, and operational reporting.
  • Own the stewardship approach for the assigned domain, ensuring standards, policies, patterns, guidance, playbooks, decisions, reference materials, and related artifacts are captured, organized, version-managed, reviewed, communicated, and continuously improved.
  • Partner with content owners and subject matter experts to establish effective content lifecycle practices while ensuring accountability for substantive content remains with designated owners.
  • Advise stakeholders on repository organization, documentation quality, communication effectiveness, adoption opportunities, and governance maturity improvements.
  • Develop and enhance operational metrics, dashboards, and reporting that measure governance effectiveness, standards adoption, execution discipline, stakeholder engagement, documentation quality, and operating model performance.
  • Analyze complex governance, prioritization, capacity, execution, documentation, and stakeholder issues to identify operational improvements with broad organizational impact.
  • Recommend governance operating model enhancements, prioritization mechanisms, execution methods, and risk mitigation strategies that improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with architecture, engineering, cybersecurity, platform, delivery, risk, compliance, and other technology organizations.
  • Facilitate governance forums, operational reviews, and stakeholder discussions to promote alignment, transparency, accountability, and timely decision-making.
  • Influence governance practices, operating routines, standards lifecycle adoption, artifact stewardship, process design, and execution discipline across the domain.
  • Independently determine methods and approaches for significant or unique domain operating initiatives while escalating strategic policy, governance ownership, or organizational decisions when appropriate.
  • Identify cross-functional impacts and recommend coordinated solutions that improve governance consistency and operational execution across adjacent technology domains.
  • Mentor Domain Operations Leads, specialists, and other contributors by sharing best practices, governance expertise, and operational knowledge.
  • Contribute to functional strategy by advancing governance maturity, operational excellence, knowledge management practices, and continuous process improvement.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 9 to 12 years of related experience in technology governance operations, architecture or security operations, risk and compliance, platform or data operations, technical program management, technology delivery, or standards and policy enablement.
  • Demonstrated expertise designing, implementing, and evolving technology governance operating models.
  • Strong knowledge of governance frameworks, intake processes, prioritization methodologies, governance cadence, operational routines, and execution management.
  • Experience establishing stewardship models for standards, policies, guidance, architectural patterns, playbooks, and technical reference materials.
  • Proven ability to develop operational metrics, dashboards, and reporting that measure governance effectiveness and operational performance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate broad operational impacts across governance, delivery, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage multiple complex initiatives and competing priorities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and build trusted partnerships across multiple technology functions.
  • Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies and cross-functional technology organizations.
