Position Summary

This is a full-time, Union Position for a Construction Foreman to oversee underground utility, concrete, excavation, pavement and dirt projects, ensuring quality and efficiency, located in Stow, Ohio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Supervise and lead crew members

· Ensure the construction work is completed safely, efficiently, and above the required quality standards

· Coordinate and schedule subcontractors when needed

· Ability to perform varies types of construction work in accordance with applicable ODOT and county specifications

· Complete jobs on time and within budget

· Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols

Job Requirements

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy highway construction work

· Understand how to read and interpret blueprint reading, plans and specifications

· Working knowledge of construction equipment

· Ability to calculate materials necessary to complete work

· Strong communication, planning and analytical skills

· Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and labor hours worked

· Enforce safety policies and ensure that all crew members comply with safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment

· Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure

· Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites
