Diet Clerk (Nutritional Services) - FT/64

Description

The Diet Clerk will:

• Follow all departmental procedures in the preparation of diets for all patients.  
• Ensure timely completion of departmental functions including catered functions. 
• Prepare the salad bar, make sandwiches and put up desserts for the cafeteria. 
• Coordinates schedules and activities of designated shifts, assisting as needed.

The hours for this position are 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM and includes every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year on the job training in food service
• Two (2) years’ experience (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of Nutrition Therapy
• Required to completed three (3) Nutrition Therapy sessions with the Registered Dietician
• Certified Dietary Manager course (preferred) 
• Basic computer knowledge; proficient computer skills (preferred)

Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $19.50- $23.00 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
